Acting Coaching & Drama School Audition Preparation

I work with both emerging and professional actors to help you perform at your best—whether you are preparing for drama school auditions, need support with a self-tape, or are rehearsing for an upcoming role.

Having been part of the audition and interview panels at LAMDA, I know exactly what panels look for. I regularly coach Voice, Text, and Accents at leading drama schools including LAMDA, Mountview, Rose Bruford, and Emil Dale Academy, as well as coaching voice and dialect on major TV and Film productions.

Sessions are always tailored to your individual goals and may focus on:

  • Monologue Selection: Choosing and refining pieces that showcase your true range and authenticity.

  • Text & Character: Developing a deeper, visceral connection to the script.

  • Vocal & Physical Prep: Preparing your mind, voice, and body for the demands of performance.

  • Audition Technique: Building confidence and a grounded presence for both live rooms and self-tapes.

Our work is practical and skill-based, drawing on tools from Uta Hagen, Laban, Stanislavski, Meisner, and Grotowski to help you find freedom, precision, and truth in your acting.

Success Stories: Past students have gone on to train at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, LAMDA, East 15, and the National Youth Theatre. Professional clients have secured roles in major global TV and film productions, including Ridley Scott’s Raised by Wolves.

Rates: £65/hour or £85 for 1.5 hours.

Acting Coaching Testimonials

Christopher's expert help really made the difference with my audition pieces. He helped me access characters in ways that made them very human and real. He has a deep knowledge about acting and how the drama school audition process works and he was incredibly supportive. Having these sessions made me feel a lot more confident, relaxed and open to direction in the audition room. I came out of the process a much better actor and I would highly recommend Christopher to all ages. I wish I'd found him sooner.
